Carlos Carmonamedina
“I was born in Mexico (1982) and studied there painting and literature. From 2007 til 2010 I was studying a MA in painting in Romania, starting to experiment with analog photo and internet language as was to express myself. During my European stay, I’ve been traveling and using that wandering as my leit-motif in my works, which combine different mediums. After finishing in Romania, I devoted myself to travel in Europe, jumping from residency to residency. I was selected with some friends to exhibit in the Venice Biennale of Venice, in the Romanian Pavillion for this online project: www.fooooooam.com
Then I was in London, Prague, Oslo and I’m currently in Slovakia, curating one project of Land-Art for August. Next week I’m moving to Romania and then Serbia.
I curate as well a blog called www.miremagazine.com and you can find all my works compiled selected in my portfolio:” www.carmonamedina.net
